Hi! My name is Peter Gilchrest, lifelong resident of Lunenburg Massachusetts. My shop is located in the woods of Lunenburg, MA where I make custom cabinetry and furniture.

Other than specific commissioned pieces as well as cabinetry I am drawn to Shaker inspired pieces. 

I have been interested in building woodworking projects from a young age in my dad’s workshop. Woodworking has always been an interest/hobby even while pursuing other careers. I decided to go full time during the pandemic as people were spending much more time in their homes and realizing they would like to upgrade or replace furniture items. This led to many projects that have kept me busy fulfilling that need. The process of design through completion is a very rewarding experience for me as a maker. The ultimate satisfaction is when a customer is thrilled with the finished project as it is being placed in its intended location.

I love building unique pieces that fit you and your home perfectly. I build for anyone who is interested in quality furniture and cabinetry that will last for generations in their home and can be passed down as an heirloom.
